This historical piece is inspired by the creation of the sombrero vueltiao (Colombian for 'turned hat'), a symbol of ancestral poetry. In Colombia's Caribbean region, the skilled artisans of the Zenú indigenous community weave caña flecha, a locally grown cane, into stories.
